​​No Claims Bonus Average Scale and Stepback

We are required by the Competitions and Markets Authority (CMA) to make you aware of our average No Claims Bonus percentages and Step Back Scale if you have a claim. This is updated annually and is provided to you by your insurance broker/intermediary within your document set.

​​Travelling Abroad

When you travel make sure that you have the correct insurance in place for the country you are travelling to - this is your responsibility. Do take your insurance documents with you.

​​Minimum compulsory insurance

Our policies provide the minimum cover required by law to use your vehicle in the following countries: European Union; Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Republic of Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.

And: Andorra, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gibraltar, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Montenegro, Norway, San Marino, Serbia and Switzerland.

Important:

-You do not need a Green Card to travel to these countries.
-Your vehicle is not covered for loss or damage when in these countries.
-You are not insured if you travel to a country not stated above.
-You will have to arrange separate insurance cover to drive in any country that is not stated above.

-Full policy cover for a specified period of time may be available depending on your policy wording. Talk to your insurance broker/ intermediary if you have any questions about this.
